12.3.17

i met this man
whose mother
beat him in the face
with a hot metal
spatula when he
was a child. this
man said of his
mother: she was
not violent. she
loved me, because
if she didn’t she
would have never
laid a finger on me.
he said his mother
made him bleed
and his father made
him cry, and that
he preferred bleeding
because what his father
did was so horrendous
that it still afflicts him
to this day. I said, What
did he do? And the man
said:
