What is The Deconstruct? It’s a project intended to bring together a diverse literary community of people who love language, and have a desire to improve their writing. My goal is to share with you the knowledge and insights I garner from a variety of different writers, genres, sources, and time-periods.

Every three weeks I will publish a comprehensive analysis of a particular book, short story, essay, screenplay, or stage play, to facilitate a discussion about each author’s unique voice, techniques, and mastery of craft.
